Introducing the LOMO® LABOROSCOPE™ AL3000-DF Trinocular Darkfield/Brightfield microscopes for live blood cell analyses by Holistic Medicine Practitioners.

Microscopes have been manufactured by LOMO PLC for more than 60 years. LOMO microscopes are distinguished by superb optical quality of objective lenses, eyepieces and high precision manufacturing of mechanical components.

The AL3000 is equipped with high quality Q-Plan Achromat objectives that feature increased numerical apertures producing vivid images with superb field flatness at any magnification during both brightfield and darkfield observations (see images below).

The power behind the AL3000’s unsurpassed image quality is your choice of two highly efficient and powerful illumination systems that provide bright, even illumination for all contrast techniques, including high-magnification oil immersion darkfield observations. The first illumination system, included as standard with the AL3000-DF, is LOMO’s famous 6V/25W Koehler illumination system that is so efficient it produces light comparable in strength to systems rated much higher in bulb wattage.

The second illumination system, included as standard with the AL3000-DF150, is a 21V/150W fiber optic illumination system that is bright enough to produce vivid darkfield images even with the most stubborn of blood samples. The AL3000 stand is large and ergonomically designed clinical microscope base, which allows for easy, fast changeover between samples, and hours of continuous operation without the repercussions of user fatigue.

The LABOROSCOPE AL3000 is a special configuration designed specifically for the live blood microscopist. Every model includes the following components and much, much more (please refer to our configuration table for a complete list of included components):

1. 4 objectives; 4 x 0.12, 10 x 0.30, 40 x 0.65, and 50 x 1.0 oil/iris Q-Plan Achromats
2. 5 eyepieces; two widefield 10x, two widefield 15x, and a measuring 15x
3. 2 condensers; a 0.90 N.A. brightfield condenser and a 1.2 N.A. oil immersion darkfield condenser
4. Trinocular head with a built-in 3 position magnification changer (1.1x, 1.6x, 2.5x), and a C-mount adapter for video microscopy (1x).
