WELCOME TO THE DAVINCI COLLEGE OF HOLISTIC MEDICINE

If your ambition is to study Holistic Medicine in order to help people with anything from headaches to cancer, then you have come to the right place. The cutting-edge courses are unique when compared to other colleges and schools because of the broad coverage of material that goes way beyond any one healing modality.

Why is the DaVinci College any different from the many other Colleges offering distance learning courses? Well, if you search the Internet you will find that most of the colleges offering courses will do so in only one field or modality; so you will get a course in homeopathy, or one in herbal medicine, or in naturopathy, acupuncture, flower remedies and so on. These are individual courses that will help you to specialize in this one particular subject.

However, health problems seen today are often too complex for any one of these healing modalities to do it justice – often the therapist needs to combine different treatments in a complex combination in order to allow the body to heal. This is the premise of Holistic Medicine – looking at the body as a whole on many different levels and applying a varied knowledge-base to really help the person recover. This is exactly what the DaVinci College of Holistic Medicine has tried to accomplish – a large variety of courses in all aspects of natural medicine are all combined to form a Professional Diploma Course in Holistic Medicine equivalent in status to a Bachelors Degree.

Moreover, in each course Dr. George Georgiou, Ph.D.,N.D.,D.Sc (AM).,MSc.,BSc has injected into the courses over 25 years of clinical experience, divulging the secrets of treatment protocols that he has developed for treating ailments from headaches to cancer. These protocols alone would be worth taking the courses for, let alone the remaining knowledge that will be gained in order to create cutting-edge practitioners of Holistic Medicine capable of treating a large array of disease processes successfully.

The courses are of a modular design, so the student or seasoned practitioners have two choices:

  1. Either to take individual Diploma courses in different topics to broaden their knowlege base, OR
  2. Complete all the Diploma courses to be awarded the Professional Diploma in Holistic Medicine.

Diploma Courses
Here are the courses that can be taken independently as Diploma Courses or all together to complete the requirements leading to the Professional Diploma Course in Holistic Medicine:

  1. Anatomy & Physiology - a comprehensive course that will take you step-by-step through all the different anatomical and physiological systems of the body using interactive cadavers - built from real anatomy data each model has a choice of 3D views with interactive functions to fully rotate and add and remove anatomical structures from the models and to view and label any structure from bone to skin. There are also Practice Quizes, animated diagrams that are interactive and enable the student to move from a macro to a micro level, and an Exam Review that enables the students to set up their own exams on the chapters studied.
  2. Pathology & Disease - this Pathology and Disease course is designed to enable students and practitioners of Holistic Medicine to understand the basic principles by which orthodox medicine operates. It is important to denote that this course has been designed with the Holistic Medicine practitioner in mind and is not a general pathology course that one would encounter in a medical school curriculum.
  3. Orthomolecular Nutrition - Part 1 – this is a comprehensive course that lays down the theoretical groundwork that the practitioner will build on in PART 2. This covers the basic reasons for eating health diets as opposed to refined ones, the various nutrients required by the body to function optimally, weight management, physical fitness and nutrition, pregnancy, old age, safety of foods, food pyramids and lots more.
  4. Orthomolecular Nutrition - Part 2 - this course takes the practitioner beyond the theory and looks at how orthomolecular nutrition can be used in the clinical setting to help treat a variety of illnesses from headaches, migraines and digestive issues, to Candida and even cancer. Many of these protocols have been tried and tested in a clinical setting and are known to successfully work - just taking these 'clinical secrets' based on decades of work is worth its weight in gold!
  5. Herbal Medicine – this course is designed for the practitioner who wants to understand Western Herbal Medicine - the basic theory, pharmacognosy, therapeutic constituents in herbs, preparation of herbal formulas, prescribing and dosages, curative herbs for many diseases as well as obtaining tried and tested formulas that have been used successfully in clinical practice over many years. There are many downloadable files and videos to facilitate the learning process.
  6. Homeopathy – this is a solid grounding in homeopathy with many useful gems for ‘short-cutting’ the process – includes classical and complex approaches, as well as homotoxicology. The complete course consists of 14 Lessons with over 900 pages of reading material all downloadable .pdf files that can be stored on your hard drive and reviewed even on your travels. Also included are videos of documentaries and lectures on various aspects of homeopathy.
  7. Naturopathic Medicine - Part 1 - this course lays down the theory of Naturopathy and examines its history and its significance in the world of healing. The student will learn in detail naturopathic protocols for detoxifying different organ systems, the use of herbs, homeopathics, nutritional supplements and other healing modalities as well as treating specific disease processes.
  8. Naturopathic Medicine - Part 2 - this course will take the student much deeper into using naturopathy in the treatment of specific diseases, but will emphasize protocols related to treating diseases such as MS, Cancer, autism, schizophrenia, depression, Crohn's Disease, ulcerative colitis and those health issues that the medical profession generally considers as 'incurable.' Protocols for all these diseases that have worked successfully for many years will be shared with the student making this an invaluable clinical gem!
  9. Live Blood Analysis – this course will open up the world to nutritional microscopy so that you can analyze your patient’s blood to determine nutritional deficiencies, the status of the immune system and more. There are two aspects to the course - one is a presentation of all of Professor Enderlein's work, one of the initial pioneers of darkfield microscopy, and the other is of a more classical scientific approach that is recognised by modern-day microbiologists today. There are hundreds of unique images of live blood, as well as videos and new concepts never before published such as 'Time Line Decay,' 'Behavioural Microscopy' and 'Zeta Potentials.'
  10. ANS Clinical Testing - a fascinating way of communicating with your patient’s autonomic nervous system to elicit health information quickly and efficiently - this course will cover VEGA Testing, Autonomic Response Testing (ART), Heart Rate Variability Testing (HRV) and Thermography. These diagnostic techniques will enable you to make accurate functional diagnoses as well as design bespoke treatment programmes for your patients while removing the guesswork from these.
  11. Bach Flower Remedies – this Bach Flower Remedy Diploma Course will give you a thorough understanding of the Bach remedies so that you can begin taking histories and prescribing in clinical practice immediately upon completion of the course. The student will learn about the history of the remedies, Dr. Bach’s philosophy, how these remedies are made, how to take a history and prescribe, details of each of the 38 remedies (Materia medica) as well as Rescue remedy, as well as how to use flower remedies with animals.
  12. Iridology - This is a content-rich course with cutting-edge research in iridology that enables the student to interact with one of the world’s most active researchers in Iridology, Professor Bryan Marcia who earned his Ph.D. in Iridology in the US. Students taking this course will be able to really immerse themselves in thousands of images of human irides, along with many real case histories. It will also be an honour and privilege to interact with one of the world’s mentors in iridology who will share their clinical experience with an open mind and a big, warm heart.
  13. Energy Medicine - this course takes the student into 21st century medicine by examining its history and some of the therapeutic devices that have been developed over the decades, some of which had powerful healing qualitites. Devices such as the BICOM bioresonance device, VEGA biodermal screening device, PAPIMI, Rife Technology, Beck, and other technologies will be examined in detail to provide the student with enough knowledge to be able to use these devices in clinical practice. The author has had many years of clinical experience with these devices.
  14. Holistic Psychology - this course does not only incorporate the basics of psychology, but also goes much further and looks at practical ways in which the practitioner can help the client on a psychoemotional level. Topics that will be examined in depth include Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Psychokinesiology, Hellinger's Family Constellations, Bach Flower Remedies, Homeopathy, Su Jok Therapy, Iris Light Therapy, Sound Therapy and more.
  15. Toxicology & Detoxification - students of Holistic Medicine cannot become good practitioners unless they learn the meaning of toxins and their effect on health, as well as the various natural procedures for mobilizing and eliminating these from the body. Tried and tested protocols will be shared with the student based on many decades of detoxification with thousands of clients in clinical settings - many of these protocols are unique and have never before been published. This course is a must for all practitioners and can be taken as a stand-alone Diploma Course.
  16. Naturopathic Sexology - often sexual issues come up with clients and the Holistic practitioner should be in a position to handle the most basic of these such as erectile problems, premature ejaculation, sexual desire disorders in both sexes, vaginismus and orgasmic dysfunction. This course is truly unique and never before taught as the author Dr. Georgiou has coined the term 'Naturopathic Sexology' as a unique science. As a practicing Clinical Sexologist, Clinical Psychologist and a Doctor of Science in Alternative Medicine he combines these modalities to provide a powerful tool in the diagnosis and treatment of sexual dysfunctions using a Holistic Approach.
